About this Attraction

The Tandang Sora Women's Museum is the first-ever women's museum in the Philippines. It honors the stories and achievements of Filipino women who have made significant contributions to Philippine history and society. Named after Melchora Aquino, also known as Tandang Sora, the museum houses exhibits on women's roles in the Philippine revolution, suffrage movement, and modern-day achievements. The museum aims to inspire visitors with stories of courage, resilience, and empowerment.

Fact Corner: Melchora Aquino, known as the "Grand Woman of the Revolution," was 84 years old when she supported the Katipunan during the Philippine Revolution against Spain.
